Next trip will be Greece - after Ireland of course

So I was going to write  a blog weeks and weeks ago -- this title was just sitting there in my blog file -- lurking around like a reminder to me of some thoughts that were going through my head at that particular point in time.

Of course these thoughts clearly came after our latest American road trip which seams so long ago now -- now that we are in the middle of August.

Even some of this has gone by since I started to write this--

Come on Engerland -- and they did -- semi-finals--well done.

Anyway -- we had some of this--- well a lot of this actually for me between Athens , Dublin and London - every week flying somewhere, oh and this is my travel shirt as it is actually cool and considering the warm weather in the past 2 months it needed to be --- I did was it every time BTW ,m just in case your thinking what a dirty blighter-- this was silly oclock at Dublin to Athens for a 6 am flight.

 

Well the thing is that I needed to get there for some of this -- Pythakia or grilled lamb chops -- amazing from the new place -- Fu Fu

 

Then of course there was the getting to see these 2 beauties -- Besties after all this time

And then in July we had the munchkins to the house so that was worth a visit to be with our boys -- even getting a day on our own with them. Don't get enough time to be with Lynsey & Jonathan so this week with them was brilliant.

 

There was a very angry sunset to capture

  and the occasional selfie with the Boys when having great swimming on the beach

Everyone needs to cool down--

 And all that swimming and stuff leaves us with an appetite for a platter of meat-- thanks Giorgos

In amongst all that stuff we had to take advantage of getting electrics replaced and changed and all in preparation for when the chippie comes to call--

 We had to do some boating with these to wonderful friends -- sorry  for the picture Lady J

So it was bon Voyage to the boys and the family--see you next time

 Trust me that with all this rushing around between countries and the like I needed this kind of quiet time---

 Could not resist putting these two pictures on here as they are my favourite views and places to relax -- and for those who have been lucky enough to sample one of Lynda's dinner parties on this roof , you will have some great memories top savour , along with the tastes of her outstanding cooking.

I was back in London flat on the odd weekend in between and that was both busy and lonely-- sure , I got to see all the children which is always great, and the grandchildren, but without Mrs A it aint never gonna be good.

But the picture below shows me in the travel check shirt on the Flying Dolphin coming to Aegina for the summer and to catch up with the invasion during the next few weeks, before I go back to Ireland.

 

I had to put this picture up as I am very proud to wear the shirt I bought after the Champions League win in 2012 - Up the Chelsea

Gotta be in it to win it -- and you've got have won it before  you can wear this kind of shirt.

And just in case Mrs A tells everyone that I never leave the lounge in the apartment in good order -- not perfect but better than normal I guess.

Oh and to wrap up what we have also been getting done-- these are the fitted wardrobes in Lynda and my bedroom here in Greece - a pretty good job.

So that's nearly all the catch up but more in the next day or so since these western folk have decended
