Ok, so here is the thing -- Lynda and me came back to the UK 3 weeks ago , and have totally ignored Super Frankie -- well he does do things on the other side to what a UK car does so it is a little difficult .
None of the british cars speak to him and he is fed up with the weather and wants to go home to Greece.
So anyway , he has had a health check, a facelift and a scrub up and now with the boot full we are raring to go.
IT has been the busiest 3 weeks though -- from decorating the hall and the bathroom, to getting everything moved back in to the lounge from the bedrooms, re-hanging the curtains , repairing the fencing in the back garden and decorating in , doing the garden -- weeding and the like, doing major weeding and external clean up at the Palmerston road house, doing loads of household paperwork stuff for councils , taxes, utilities, solicitors it was pretty full on.
A visit to Rod & Ann to catch up but also especially to watch the mighty Chels thrash the Gooners to prove that there is still only one team in London -- great night with my mate and managed to catch them before we left , we are so gonna miss you two this summer --- Visited Stuart & Lynn in Bristol , had a trip to heathrow and collected a visitor from Greece to take to dinner and stay over before dropping of in London centre and catching just enough time to pop in to see the wonderful Peggeane Chevalier at her place near crystal palace the penultimate night, meant we were charging around a bit and added to the shopping and DIY shops and plant shops it didn't stop.
Bristol is a really cool place to go especially at a weekend.
This of course had to be interspersed with Family from afternoons of looking after the boys at Jonathan & Lynseys, trips down to Brighton for fun on the Pier and dinner at the Whitecliff Café with all of the children and a sprinkling of grand children, then you kind of see that there wasn't too much time for ourselves-- but am definitely not complaining.
We did have a cheeky little slip in to the theatre of dreams or alternatively know as Stamford Bridge.
So the picture of Frankie was at 06.45 this morning before we set off for the Eurostar and our journey to Versaille but that's for another day -- tomorrow maybe.
Staying in The Hotel France and am just thinking to go down to get an early dinner-- be rude not to.
Bonne Nuit.
