Red Rocks, Psycics and Kokapelli -- Insperational

So once again we are in Sedona in northwest Arizona and one of the most beautiful Towns /Areas in America--- in Lynda and my opinion.

Via

with scenery such as this

Didn't get the chance to use The Combres & Teton Train---- But again great to see that parts of the US are taking care of historical routes and the trains themselves---

My driver  and the typical straight roads that on long drives you have to expect----

All around this area of Arizona there are examples of where the Indians and in Particular the Navajo are taking back aspects and creating businesses that will help[ them maintain their identity and customs----

Not quite sure that Casinos are right for them but they are combining the land and their history to use the caves and the indian art to help sell tourism---

This guy really got around but not sure he would have ever made moccasins---

More power to them for their future

A really great hotel that Lynda and I have stayed n before and have always had a great relaxation here----

our views have always been of the red rocks behind the hotel--- but maybe not quite the L'auberge that we were lucky to get  moved to with Rod & Ann---

So far we have had a great meal in The Cowboy Club which is always one of my favourite restaurants----

Oh and they do do the meanest Cowboy Coffees in the west--- maybe the Jack Daniels that makes it so--

This after making a Jack Daniels toast to our friend Pondo---we miss you my friend

After a great white wine of course

So whats to do in Sedona, well there are some amazing places , apart from all the hiking and mountain bikes and jeep safari's , such as Montezuma's Castle- and Palatki Caves--

There are also the train rides into the mountains and the drive up to the likes of Jerome and to look at  how the miners made their living.
Or you can just look around all the art , the jewellery and general mystical shops -- there are a whole bunch of people around Sedona making the souvenirs---

Many an intrepid shopper that stops to read the statue plaques----

And finally the psychics , mediums and mystical people around here that truly believe that this place has something awe inspiring so I found these to post in here---

We were told at the ranch that there had been many sightings in Sedona of UFO's and that these were from different reliable sources------ well I have to say that the majority of Yanks at the ranch were of a mind that it was either something from one of the American Governments secret research facilities in Arizona or Nevada or more likely the quality of the weed being smoked in the town-----

Finding your Aura is probably fun but I found mine and it is Blanc -- preferably the Marlborough Sauvignon variety----

Clearly there are these real clever chaps that know what life is all about when it comes to finding your Che or where your heart is and the journey you need to take to get there---- for me it will be the Ferryboat to Aegina next Tuesday afternoon to find our Kardia---

Clearly I am missing something as I have no idea what a vortices is --- hang on , where is Google--

Ok , apparently it is this----

In fluid dynamics, a vortex is a region in a fluid in which the flow is rotating around an axis line, which may be straight or curved. The plural of vortex is either vortices or vortexes.

Now I understand where I have been going wrong all this time--- havnt found my axis line and would only hope that mine is straight---

So here is the meaning of Sedona

And finally it comes back to our old friend Kokapelli -- the story teller , the Wanderer , the man who travelled all over and left some of the stories on the cave walls in the form of the Petroglyphs  which he shared with various tribes and still managed to keep his scalp.

There are those that think that when you examine the whole shape of him that he may have been a visitor -- not from the tribe down the road but from up above---

For me , when you see these and then see the similarities with what we saw in Australia, it makes you wonder -- especially as the distances might prevent one from the USA going to the land down under---

Ok , so to finish with I would just like to say that whether you believe that it is mystical or not , whether you think it gets visited or not , there will never be anything that with take away the awe inspiring that we are treated to here-- enjoy and come visit Sedona soon-----

Truly Inspirational
