Gunslingers, Fishermen(&women) &Swimmers--all in a days work

It really feels like its been more than a week and yet its only been 4 days, but by eck we are cramming it all in.

So most of us are riding every day but we have to intersperse that with some external visitis such as the day to Tombstone that we took on Tuesday. It is pretty special when you think that these good folk who live/work there are doing the same king of thing 3 or 4 times a day with the OK Corral gunfight and the stagecoach up and down and around the streets all day.

But it is fun and a good way to keep this bit of their history preserved.

  The boys were getting a bit fed-up cramped in this buggy so we found them something a little more grand and in keeping although you can only see Ethan.

This guy in the saloon where the guys got a beer was a very good country singer and guitarist

So this lead us nicely back to do a little fishing in the Ranches small lake that is stocked with bass and catfish -- oh and some little flat fish that Mollie is demonstrating for everyone--- so yesterday while Jonathon was on the 4 hour adventure ride the rest of us came down here and we had jack winning the fastest caught fish and Terry with the largest but everyone caught something -- except Lynda (but she caught one today)

Today was a little better for me in the size of fish being caught and I felt pretty good ab out it until I looked back on the one I caught here 3 years ago--in my Chelsea gear of course-- now that is a seriously large catfish---

 

 

Apologies to Jonathon & Lynsey who did extremely well when they came down to the lake today but I got no shot of them but I think they made up for that.

 

 So after all this , there is nothing better that a darn good swim and that includes the boys in their little floating tents.

 I think I was just surprised that I managed to take one so I took two

 And one for the lovers -- with Jonathon & Lynsey managing to share air for a while so I could take this shot

So that is a quick catch-up and I am sure that I have a whole lot of catching up to do when I get somewhere to get a usb cable that will fit into Lynda's camera and my tablet as she has some better shots on hers that I currently cant get downloaded.

 

Oh , and we missed the BBQ as it hammered down last night so had to eat in the dinning room but still we were treated to a spectacular lightning show out of the high windows -- amazing.
