It's all about the Horses

Having got here Sunday to TVR, its amazing to think that it is only our second day proper -- just seems  to have done so much already.

Yesterday was the start of the riding proper and I am amazed at how well and quickly Mollie Jack and most importantly my Jonathan have taken to this horse riding malarkey--just waiting for Lynsey to do her ride later this morning with Jonathan and that's everyone has had at least one ride.

So for anyone remotely interested the following are going to be a variety of my shots of these game riders from the UK although I am sure that there will be far better photos from the rest of the family.

This is my beautiful eldest daughter -- such a sweet and pleasant person who , on the first morning ride decides to take the Pee royally out of her husband Craig --  he who the nearest he has been to a horse is in a betting shop -- very unkind Juliet.

Actually all three were guilty I think---

Another one above who has never ridden a horse before yesterday and did a great job.

If your not nice though it comes back to haunt you and you and up getting of the horse and looking like someone who needs the loo rather badly.

Anyway , he looks the part to me and he did a damn good job on his first ride.
Which is more than can be said for M's Julie who got into an impersonation of Michael Jacksons Moonwalk with the horse and got a right rollicking from the top wrangler-- to be fare they should have told her that dancing and being a show off is definitely not aloud.

The only one missing yesterday was Lynsey who was with the boys but we fixed that today , more of which later.

So we had a complete novice in our Grandson jack --- never been on a horse before at all and he took to it like a duck to water as did Mollie who had had a couple of lessons which Jack didn't.

The wrangler said he would give jack a job right now.

However , all them aside and not belittling everyone else's efforts, my son is a natural and he is all over this riding lark to the point of Loping and going on the mountain rides and such.

All in all it was a great first day and we went on both the 7.30 & 10.30.

The afternoon was a much needed splash around the pool which there will be pictures of later.

Riding and Tombstone today and riding and fishing and B-B-Q tomorrow night finished off with the footy on TV from LA--- carn you chels.
