One Summer finishes , Another begins

A very special week is about to unfold for Lynda and me in the United States of America.

So here we are, the morning of the start of summer-- well our next summer I guess-- oh come on, I am looking out the window and after this weeks heat wave , that's it -- summer is done here in the UK. That means we have to go find it elsewhere and that begins today.

This is booked and will be here in a couple of hours---

This is booked and I am told the are just giving it a final clean and that will be ready to go---this of course also signifies OD in movies-- I can go months without watching a movie until we fly long haul and then POW.

Hopefully when we get off we will be here---

This will of course come with many different guarantees -- like the grand canyon will still be there -- Tombstone will still be having the daily gunfight at the OK coral--

-- Intel will still be making microprocessors in Chandler, the steaks will bigger than those in London--- oh yeah, and it is likely to be like this---

Then its a quick stop off to pick up of these---

and then get ourselves down to Tucson where we will stay in this place to meet a bunch of well tanned family---

After one night here and a bit of cowboy paraphernalia shopping for some of this--

and after a chill-out in the sports bar next door to the hotel we will mosey on down to Tanque Verde Ranch----

So here I am sitting in Carshalton and imagining all of this-- having been before a couple of times helps me to use that imagination to almost be there in my thoughts.
The reality is though that by late this afternoon I actually will be there, with the wonderful Lynda , Charlotte & Terry with only a day to wait until the Shadenburgs and the other Andrews (leaver) gangs arrive from Palm springs and LA.

The most special week coming up with the majority of the family together in a place we love so much-- all I can say is Yeah Ha!!

Ok so this is the first of my summer blogs and I promise to try harder to do better in the coming weeks.
