So when Lynda and I were talking about dinner and what we were going to do she told me that she had seen a restaurant across the freeway-- ok so we could cross a road bridge to get there, so we agreed to give it a try --- The Best Decision, and we said we would do a piece on the blog for them.
It was called --- AJSpurs and apparently this is one of 3.
So for those in the UK -- think of TGIFridays and then think of a Cowboy version and you are about there-- more western memorabilia on the walls than you can shake a Lassoo at--
A really warm welcome from the staff and our blonde server -- sorry to not get her name, but she was so friendly and informative.
I didn't take my phone so no pictures live last night but trust me if you want warming up inside then the fact that the restaurant brings this soup to everyone at the beginning is a really great idea and the soup itself was -- awesome -- some French bread might have just topped it off.
So I had the beef bits and Lynda had the ribs & sausage over stirfry and there was a lot-- not exactly like these below but you get the drift--
And they have a great habit of coming to your table and singing happy birthday if they get the information--
So for us ---AJ Spurs for being a very social, serving great food , is one where we would go back and one of the best we have been in on this trip.
So if you are ever thinking of the Californian coast as a place to visit north of LA and San Bernadino, then this would be a great place to stop by.
