Sunrise Palm Springs style--
Now people might be thinking that I am bonkers saying this is boring because clearly , from a visual and a feel good perspective it is amazing. But it is every day--no change and you know that the temperature is going to be around the 110 degrees mark today--same as yesterday.
It is so hot --it was over 100 degrees at 7 pm last night when it was getting dark---crazy and of course oppressive . Then I read that in the UK that it is grey and cold and miserable with heating going on well I mean , where is the balance especially as we will be back by the end of the month.
By 2pm we gave up and came back to the room where we have the aircon of course and thank god for it.
So in the end we decided to go out and went to here---
Where you know that the temperature is going to be very pleasant, as it was in here---
And in here--
And in all of theses places plus of course there is good exercise both with the walking and with the use of the right hand and removal and locating the wallet--the hand is feeling very flexible right now.
We decided to combiner the visit there to having dinner at one of our favourite eateries over here which is The Cheesecake Factory--which we first came across will friends Ann and Rod in Hawaii a few years back---
Great menu and food with a real buzzing atmosphere.
But while the picture below does not give as real feel for the actual size so your going to have to take my word for it--Lynda and I shared the largest piece of Carrot Case I have ever seen in my life--I mean it was huge----
And thank god we didn't ask for one each--we are learning, but I must also just say that it was far and away the best Carrot cake I have ever eaten as well---amazing.
When we came back to the hotel it was just around 8 pm, so I watched a Netflix movie called Parker with Jason Statham with the laptop and earphones on the balcony with a glass of red, while Lynda watched her episodes of the real desperate housewives of Outer Mongolia and Ruberkstan and the village of midsomer madness-----ok so it was Hollywood and Atlanta and New York--one of those places any way.
So am off to breakfast and can see us in the pool early today and then siesta later--tough old life and we have to do it.
