A Sunday night in The Harbour Darling

Firstly what a nice surprise to wake up to in the morning here in Sydney --- a double over the league leaders -- well ok but they would have been if they had beaten Chelsea, but they didn't and that is the double over them.

Also a big thanks to Lynda for the prayer she said in the car on the way in to Sydney yesterday afternoon here---every little helps.
This run that Chelsea are on at present unbeaten in 8 matches, must raise the old questions regarding what was wrong prior to that.
Never mind-- that can keep for another day and another back page.

So we arrived back at the Parkroyal Hotel and this is the view this time from the room on the 10th floor

A view over Darling Harbour and a big picture of -------- A Duck?
What it is actually is supporting a large screen of with what will be live images of the show and floating stage just at the end of the harbour------

I do have to say that Sydney is an extremely vibrant place at anytime of the day or night but night time even more so, and for a Sunday night this was buzzing , but I have to say that in a city centre I have never seen so many people from South East Asia---they are everywhere and they are either getting some very good deals for holidaying here in Oz, or they are taking over.

We had a really nice meal in Nicks on the bay with Lynda choosing the fishermans platter and me the chargrilled Tuna and managed to get a selfie in as well.

So no fireworks tonight here, but you can feel that there is an atmosphere building towards the 26th Jan which is Australia Day of course---
So let Lynda and me be the first to say-----

Just a couple more shots of the phone around the Harbour----

 Lynda leaving Nick's
And the view from our window again a few hours later and I am sure that this will be a great place to be to see fireworks and light shows on Tuesday.

OK guy's, breakfast calls and then its a bit of a drive out to find the elusive "Summer Bay" --- what---you don't know what / where that is, -- oh come on--- home of Madge & Alf and of course when you are into that kind of thing to Brax-- so it is up up & Away---get it Home & Away--- well as far as Lynda goes this is the ultimate conclusion to a trip to Australia----

Now get my accent sorted just in case I get offered a walk on part into the CafĂ© on the beach--- "G'day Alf, a Tinny for me and a Tonic for the Sheila--- well no look, not really Sheila --it's Lynda of course" -- Waltzing my Lynda , Waltzing my Lynda , we'll come a Waltzing my Lynda with me----
