Re-union's, New Unions ---

So we finally made it to meet up with Lynda's other Cousin , Jeffrey and his family as we come towards the end of our journey down the East Coast of Australia. It was a fantastic day and as Lynda said, in some ways it doesn't seem all those years ago that we last me in the UK. Like Jeffrey's sister Janet, you have chosen a great location to live with lots of room for the children to grow up in.

For Chiara & Brendan, we are sorry that we missed you  both , so you will have to do the Aussie thing and travel to Europe where we can meet.

For Kieran, Loughlin, Aiden and Giana and Sienna -- it was a real pleasure to meet you guys and we hope it wont be the last time. Don't forget that England and Greece are on every good Aussie back packers list to go see----- and if I got any names wr4ong then please just put it down as an old timers desease.

And to top all that off Lynda gets to see , close up as you can get to a bunch of wild ones here missing wild Kangaroo's.

So we left Byron Bay, early morning and drove to Crescent Head and along the way we saw our friend Lyn's Big Banana

And a chance for a selfie with my partner at the wheel and me with a face that had seen too much sun the day before--- thank goodness that it has calmed down a bit now.

So having met up with Jeffrey , it was off to the Moores family house.
In my mind as I mentioned , I see this house as a typical example of an Australian architecture, but there is no doubt that when the rain lashes down,-- and boy, can it lash down -- that having this outside balcony it still allows outside living and entertaining

And here to prove that when it rains it really does rain----------

Some random shops of the family Moore-- and us----------

I took the liberty of borrowing this pretty picture of the birthday girl--Giana, as we didn't get a nice enough one of her.

And now , to prove that Nicola can deliver, the shots that Lynda had been dreaming about and I had been winging about---- these were on their land and by the side of it---- amazing.
 He was a big lad--

There were about ten in total and in the one below you can just make out a little Joey in the pouch--

Add to these the chickens the parrots and the dog it is quite a menagerie.

So we ended the afternoon getting totally soaked before we got back in the room but it couldn't dampen our spirits after a great day.

We finished with dinner with Nicola , Jeffrey and Lynda & me at a really nice little restaurant over the road from the motel.
A great meal , perfect company and the end of a great day
