I had rare tuna to start with and Lynda the scallops and we both finished with the small Barramundi --
Trust me - not so small but very delicious---
Again the chance meeting with others when you travel never ceases to amaze me how it can be that we meet like minded folk as in those who have similar views or supporters of similar interests and that was the case last night in meeting Rob , Simone and Marcus --- and just to seal the deal--- the very pretty Chelsea. And let me tell you that these 2 children were the most behaved I've seen for a long time---nice to see.
Ok so it turns out that Rob --- all the way from Melbourne , is a Chelsea fan and hence the daughters name--- well at least it has a better ring to it than calling her Liverpool.
So we are now FB friends and Simone promises to read the Blog when she cannot think of anything in the world to do other than that.
As is often happening in the tropics last night it decided to hammer down with a tropical shower but this morning , apart from an initial shower , the sun is putting its hat on so should be good.
As we got a bit too much sun yesterday afternoon we are going in to port Douglas this morning to have a nose around and start to think about things that we want to do in the next 7 days---- great barrier reef snorkelling and a treck into the Rain Forest - although we could have walked around the grounds here last night and pretended it was the rain forest.
Well done to Chelsea yesterday of making the 4th round by overcoming a stubbon Scunthorpe United 2--0 with Rubens Loftus-cheek scoring his first goal for Chelsea in the process.
19 years old and he's English, happy days.
A bit of a rush on now cause brekkies are calling and I am being chased by Lynda -- no , not really chased , but will be in trouble if we miss so as in all the times of looking at Chelsea I leave you with --- KTBFFH or Keep the blue flag flying high. :-)
